- DT Javon Kinlaw and CB Emmanuel Moseley have been placed on the injured reserve list
- LB Curtis Robinson has been activated from the injured reserve list
- CB Dontae Johnson and WR Willie Snead IV have been elevated from the practice squad
ESPN's Field Yates was the first to report the Kinlaw news. The third-year defender has been dealing with what the team has described as "a flare-up" in his surgically repaired knee and has not played since Week 3 against the Denver Broncos. Kinlaw has two tackles through three games. He will have to miss a minimum of four more games.
"I knew coming into the year I'd have ups and downs," Kinlaw said last week of the buildup of fluid in his knee. "I'm not discouraged. It'll be a long year."
Moseley suffered a season-ending ACL injury during last weekend's win over the Carolina Panthers.
San Francisco had opened Robinson's practice window on Wednesday.
