Samson Ebukam returned to practice after missing Wednesday's session due to what head coach Kyle Shanahan described as the defensive end dealing with tendinitis from the turf at Bank of America Stadium. Although, the 49ers officially listed it as an Achilles injury. He was limited.
Defensive linemen Nick Bosa (groin) and Javon Kinlaw (knee) still aren't practicing. Bosa was seen working out on a side field. Arik Armstead has been ruled out for Sunday. He didn't travel with the team to West Virginia.
That's three key 49ers defensive linemen who could be absent when the team takes the field against the Falcons.
Robbie Gould returned to practice. That is a good sign for the kicker who suffered a left knee contusion against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Below are Thursday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Falcons, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
