During the local broadcast of the game, it was announced that cornerback Ambry Thomas is not playing because he is dealing with a knee issue that originated from this week's joint practices with the Vikings. Nick Wagoner of ESPN reported it first (or second, if you count the broadcast).
"He tried to go," head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game. "He worked out before the game, did everything he could to go, so we appreciate him for that, but he wasn't able to, and hopefully, he'll be able to go against Houston."
Below are the 49ers-Vikings in-game injury updates.
