The San Francisco 49ers are in Eagan, Minnesota, for joint practices with the Vikings at the TCO Performance Center. Two Niners appear set to make their returns to the practice field. They are defensive lineman Arik Armstead and cornerback Emmanuel Moseley.

Armstead has been recovering from an MCL sprain, while Moseley has been dealing with a hamstring injury. While returning, they are unlikely to participate in team drills and will focus on individual drills as they are eased back into practice.



Head coach Kyle Shanahan discussed Armstead during a conference call this past weekend.

"He's coming along," Shanahan said of his defensive lineman. "I bet you he could go. I bet you he'd be all right this week if we really wanted to push it. We'll watch him here the next couple of days. And I think we're a little more hesitant for his first practices back to be against another team, to be against Minnesota. So the odds are we'll wait on him, but he's doing a good job."

The 49ers and Vikings have two joint practices scheduled. The Wednesday and Thursday sessions have 7:58 a.m. PT (9:58 a.m. CT) start times. Shanahan is expected to speak to reporters after Wednesday's session and will provide an injury update for his team.
