The San Francisco 49ers remained at the No.5 spot, with no movement post draft. Hanzus offered no comments on the 49ers draft selections but he did comment on the availability of All-Pro Deebo Samuel. Hanzus writes:
"Meanwhile, the Niners don't seem at all eager to move superstar wide receiver Deebo Samuel, trade demand be damned. Kyle Shanahan said on Friday the 49ers have yet to receive an offer that was "even remotely close" to what they'd consider fair. One explanation for that, as a prominent NFL reporter recently said to me, is that San Francisco has been "really unreasonable" in trade conversations."
It's clear at this point the 49ers do not want to move Samuel, and no teams have offered anything to make the 49ers change their mind.
The four teams ahead of the 49ers in Hanzus' power rankings include the Rams, Bills, Bengals, and Buccaneers.
Despite the Deebo Samuel saga and a debatable draft, the 49ers haven't budged in his power rankings.
