Who is Michael Badejo? He's a four-time All SWAC (Southwestern Athletic Conference) award winner. He's the recipient of the Phille Steele All SWAC Award. He's a team captain and academic advisor that made the dean's list and the honors list.
Who is Michael Badejo? He's a hard worker on the football field. He's a man that took adversity head-on. Badejo transferred from SMU in 2018 to Texas Southern. He missed the 2018 season. In 2021, Badejo finished the season with 34 tackles, three sacks, six quarterback hits, fourteen hurries, and one pass deflection. He completed his collegiate career with 100 total tackles, 10.5 Sacks, 12.5 tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and three forced fumbles. Badejo played so well that he was selected to participate in the first annual HBCU Legacy Bowl.

In addition, he bench-pressed 19 reps, two less than Purdue's star edge rusher, George Karlaftis. Badejo's vertical jump was 33 inches, and his broad jump was nine feet.
