San Francisco signed Dwelley (6-5, 235) as an undrafted free agent out of the University of San Diego in 2018. He registered four receptions for 51 yards with a touchdown through 17 game appearances with the 49ers last season.
Dwelley, 27, has caught 40 passes for 401 yards with four touchdowns in 60 game appearances (17 starts) through his four NFL seasons. He has also appeared in six postseason contests.
Dwelley joins several other unrestricted free agent teammates who re-signed on one-year deals, including defensive tackle Maurice Hurst, cornerback Dontae Johnson, defensive end Jordan Willis, and running back Jeff Wilson Jr.
