The San Francisco 49ers announced the re-signing of defensive end Jordan Willis to a one-year deal. He was an unrestricted free agent.

The Cincinnati Bengals made Willis (6-4, 270) a third-round selection out of Kansas State in 2017. He registered 15 tackles, two tackles for a loss, five quarterback hits, three sacks, and a forced fumble through 10 game appearances with the 49ers last season.

San Francisco traded for Willis on October 27, 2020, sending a 2022 sixth-round pick in exchange for the defender and a 2021 seventh-round pick.

Willis, 26, has recorded 80 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, 19 quarterback hits, 8.5 sacks, a pass defensed, and two forced fumbles in 60 game appearances (two starts) through his five NFL seasons with the Bengals, New York Jets, and 49ers.
