The San Francisco 49ers have tendered restricted free agent offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill at the right-of-first-refusal level of $2.43 million, per Matt Barrows of The Athletic. That means the Niners can match any offer from a competing team but would receive no draft pick as compensation if Brunskill chooses to leave.

The Atlanta Falcons signed Brunskill as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State in 2017. He played for the San Diego Fleet of the now-defunct AAF league before signing with the 49ers on April 11, 2019. The 49ers signed Brunskill to a one-year deal on March 20, 2020, and then placed a one-year exclusive-rights free agent tender on him on March 12, 2021, officially re-signing him a month later.

Brunskill, 28, has 47 game appearances and 40 starts through his three seasons in San Francisco, including 33 starts over the last two seasons. The versatile offensive lineman has experience at center, guard, and tackle.
