ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Burks is signing a two-year, $5 million deal with San Francisco.
The Green Bay Packers made Burks (6-3, 233) a third-round selection out of Vanderbilt in 2018. He registered 36 tackles, a tackle for a loss, two quarterback hits, and 0.5 sacks through 17 game appearances (three starts) with the Packers last season, per Pro Football Reference.
Burks, 26, played 337 snaps on special teams in 2021, and 1,175 since 2018. On defense, he has recorded 92 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 59 game appearances (seven starts) through his four NFL seasons.
