This week, it was revealed that Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a right shoulder sprain in Sunday's win against the Dallas Cowboys. The quarterback was already dealing with a right thumb injury. All signs point to him still starting in Saturday's game.
Running back Elijah Mitchell was also limited due to the knee injury he has had since Week 13. The surprise name on the list was rookie cornerback Ambry Thomas, who was also limited due to a knee injury.
"We're not sure what play it happened on," head coach Kyle Shanahan said of Thomas' injury. "It happened sometime in the game; just a bone bruise. We think he'll be alright but it's not alright for a Tuesday."
As expected, defensive end Nick Bosa remains in the concussion protocol. Defensive end Jordan Willis suffered a high-ankle sprain against the Cowboys and did not practice.
Below are Tuesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Packers, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
