That isn't affecting head coach Kyle Shanahan enthusiasm for the matchup at the iconic venue.
"It's pretty cool," Shanahan told reporters on Monday. "Any time you can go play there in the winter—I mean, I would prefer not to, to tell you the truth. It's a little bit cold for me, but I'll be dressed warm. I don't have to play, so I can load up with a bunch of layers.
"Just to be there in that atmosphere, though, is real cool. I haven't gotten to do that since I think it was our Monday-night game (in 2018) that we went last time, and that atmosphere was crazy. And to go there in the playoffs with the caliber team that they have, with the quarterback (Aaron Rodgers) that they have, it is going to be a real special game."
"It's going to be a huge challenge, and it's going to be something that, I myself, and I know everyone involved with us, is going to remember for our lives."
The Divisional Round playoff game will be a rematch from Week 3, with a location change. The Packers escaped Levi's Stadium with a 30-28 victory thanks to some late-game heroics from Rodgers.
There was some post-game chatter surrounding the frosty handshake between longtime friends, Shanahan and Packers head coach Matt LaFleur.
"Matt's my guy. Matt and I are totally good," Shanahan shared. "I was pissed after that game because of how the game just ended. That was a tough one. It took a while to get over. But we're good. I talked to Matt a lot. He's done a hell of a job this year. I've been real happy for him, but that stops this week."
