The San Francisco 49ers eliminated the Dallas Cowboys from the playoffs on Sunday with a thrilling 23-17 win at AT&T Stadium in the Wild Card round.

- The 49ers improved to 18-19-1 all-time against the Cowboys, including a 3-5 record in the postseason.
- San Francisco has now reached the Divisional Round of the Playoffs for the 2nd time in 3 seasons.
- The Niners improved to 5-2 all-time in the Wild Card Round and are now 2-2 all-time on the road in Wild Card matchups.
- The 49ers have now won consecutive playoff games against the Cowboys, having defeated Dallas, 38-28, in the 1995 NFC Championship Game vs. Dal. (1/15/95).
- Head coach Kyle Shanahan improved to 3-1 as a head coach in the postseason.
O-line
- San Francisco's offensive line did not allow a sack in the postseason for the first time since 1/5/03 vs. NYG (NFC-WC).
Elijah Mitchell
- Making his postseason debut, RB Elijah Mitchell rushed for 96 yds. and 1 TD on 27 carries.
- Mitchell scored on a 4-yd. TD run, becoming the first 49ers rookie to register a TD run in the postseason since RB LaMichael James registered a 15-yd. TD run at Atl. (1/20/13 – NFC-C). He also became the 4th rookie to register a rushing TD in the postseason.
- Mitchell's 27 carries were tied for the 2nd-most in a postseason game in franchise history [Raheem Mostert – 29 vs. GB (1/19/20 – NFC-C) & Ken Willard – 27 at Min. (12/27/70 – NFC-D)].
Deebo Samuel
- WR Deebo Samuel hauled in 3 recepts. for 38 yds. He also added 10 carries for 72 yds. and 1 TD on the ground. His 26-yd. TD run was the first postseason rushing TD of his career.
- His 72 rushing yds. are the most by a WR in a postseason game in NFL history. Samuel now owns 2 of the 3 games with the most rushing yds. by a WR in a postseason game.
Charles Omenihu
- DL Charles Omenihu notched 3 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 1 FF on the day, marking the first 1.5 sacks and FF of his postseason career.
Nick Bosa
- DL Nick Bosa registered 3 tackles and 0.5 sack on the day. He now has 4.5 sacks in the 4 games of his postseason career and at least 0.5 sacks in each.
Samson Ebukam
- DL Samson Ebukam registered 2 tackles and 0.5 sacks, marking his first 0.5 sack of his postseason career.
Arik Armstead
