Assuming they won, the 49ers' next opponent was already known, even as they were fighting for the win in overtime. A victory meant a trip to Arlington, Texas, to face the Dallas Cowboys, winners of the NFC East.
On Sunday night, the NFL announced the date and time of the 49ers-Cowboys matchup. The two teams will kick off from AT&T Stadium on Sunday, January 16 at 1:30 PM PT (3:30 PM CT).
San Francisco finished the season with a 10-7 record. It was just the second time in the past eight years that the 49ers have finished with a winning record. The Cowboys are early 3-point favorites, per DraftKings Sportsbook.
