Running back Elijah Mitchell was among those who did not practice. While the rookie has cleared the concussion protocol, he is still recovering from a knee injury. On Tuesday afternoon, head coach Kyle Shanahan said Mitchell "had some encouraging things happen this weekend" regarding the injury. However, his status remains a game-time decision. Mitchell was inactive this past Sunday.
Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair was another inactive player on Sunday. The good news is that he practiced—albeit limited.
Safety Jaquiski Tartt is dealing with an ankle sprain. He, too, was limited. Safety Talanoa Hufanga, who suffered a knee sprain on Sunday, did not practice.
Below are Tuesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Titans, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
