LB Azeez Al-Shaair
Al-Shaair left the game in the third quarter and did not return. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game that the linebacker's status wouldn't be known until more tests were run.
On Monday, Shanahan said Al-Shaair suffered an elbow sprain and is considered "day-to-day." That is certainly good news for the emerging 49ers star linebacker.
CB Ambry Thomas
Thomas left the field in overtime and was evaluated for a head injury. He is in the concussion protocol.
LB Fred Warner
Warner went down late in the first half but returned in the second half of the game after medical staff examined his lower leg. Shanahan said Warner is dealing with an ankle sprain but says he should be "alright." The coach later added that the linebacker could play this weekend against the Atlanta Falcons.
"I expect him to be [available], but you never know," Shanahan said. "It wasn't a high-ankle sprain. I think it was a low-ankle sprain. And he did go back and finish the game, so I'm expecting him to be fine, but we'll see as the week plays out."
LB Dre Greenlaw
Greenlaw (groin) has been inactive the last two games. Shanahan provided an update on his injured linebacker.
"He has a chance [to play this weekend], but it's been bothering him all year," Shanahan said. "We've got two games here in the next 10 days, so we'll see what he does on the field today and tomorrow. If he has a chance to get into practice this week, then he will have a chance. I'm not counting on it, but I hope it does happen."
