San Francisco did not activate Dee Ford. Head coach Kyle Shanahan was hopeful the veteran pass rusher would be available this weekend after the team opened his practice window on Thursday. He landed on injured reserve on November 6 due to a back injury.

The 49ers protected three practice squad players on Tuesday, preventing other teams from signing them to an active roster. They are linebacker Tyrell Adams, defensive back Davontae Harris, and tight end Tanner Hudson. San Francisco also signed wide receiver Devin Funchess and cornerback Luq Barcoo to the practice squad this week.
San Francisco and Minnesota each enter Week 12 with a 5-5 record. Kickoff between the two teams is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. PT from Levi's Stadium. The 49ers are currently a 3.5-point favorite.
The two teams will announce their inactive players 90 minutes ahead of kickoff.
Also of note, Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back Rayshawn Jenkins was fined $10,815 for punching 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings last weekend.
