Wide receiver Deebo Samuel returned to practice after sitting out Wednesday's session. However, there was still no sign of left tackle Trent Williams. The offensive lineman last practiced on Monday, October 18, when he tweaked his ankle injury.
Quarterback Trey Lance took part in his second practice of the week after missing time with an ankle sprain.
Reporters saw tight end George Kittle (injured reserve), safety Jaquiski Tartt, and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair working on a side field. The 49ers are expected to open Kittle's practice window next week with the possibility of the tight end returning for Week 9.
Below are Thursday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Bears, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
