Inactives:
- OL Aaron Banks
- DL Zach Kerr
- RB Elijah Mitchell
- CB Josh Norman
- CB K'Waun Williams
The only roster move the 49ers made on Saturday was activating defensive tackle Maurice Hurst from injured reserve. He is active.
The team did not activate running back Kerryon Johnson, or any other player, from the practice squad. With Mitchell ruled out due to a shoulder injury, the team will proceed with Trey Sermon, Jacques Patrick, and Trenton Cannon at running back against Seattle. San Francisco's offense also featured much more of fullback Kyle Juszczyk last weekend against the Green Bay Packers.
Josh Norman isn't playing because the cornerback suffered a lung contusion last weekend against the Packers. On Friday's game status report, he was listed as "doubtful" for today's game. However, tight end George Kittle, who has been dealing with a calf injury and was listed as "questionable," is active.
Rookie offensive lineman Aaron Banks has yet to be active for a game.
