Among those 15 players is 49ers cornerback Emmanuel Moseley. He is slated to be the starter across from Jason Verrett.
49ers players underwent their first COVID-19 tests this morning. The team is scheduled to hold its first practice tomorrow morning in front of fans.
Moseley being out could be an opportunity for rookies Ambry Thomas and Deommodore Lenoir to get more practice reps.
San Francisco officially announced that running back Jeff Wilson Jr. and safety Tarvarius Moore have been placed on the active/physically-unable-to-perform (PUP) list. The team also waived wide receiver Andy Jones.
