"Hall had himself a nice week at the Senior Bowl back in January," notes Melo.
Hall (6-0, 190) recorded 134 tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, six interceptions, 25 passes defensed, and three forced fumbles during his collegiate career with the Aztecs, per Sports Reference. He racked up 37 tackles, two tackles for a loss, three interceptions, and six passes defensed as a junior in 2020.
"Darren Hall is going to make the impact that he's destined to make," Hall told The Draft Network in March when asked to offer a self-evaluation. "I'm gonna come in and work my butt off. I'm gonna make sure that I'm doing all of the things that allow me to play at a high level. I can play on special teams. I can play multiple roles in the secondary. Every play that comes my way is going to get my full effort. I'm gonna give it my all every single day."
NFL teams are allowed to conduct up to five video calls per prospect leading to the draft, and each call can last up to one hour. There is no limit to how many phone conversations NFL teams can conduct with draft-eligible players.
The 2021 NFL Draft begins on April 29.
