Just days ago, Bovada gave the San Francisco 49ers the third-best odds to end up with Watson. Oddsmakers now have four teams — the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, and Chicago Bears — ahead of San Francisco.

The Texans remain the favorite despite Watson making it clear that his preference is to depart the organization that made him the No. 12 overall pick in 2017. The team and its frustrated player are not seeing eye-to-eye, and the relationship may be beyond repair. Watson has not officially requested a trade, nor have the Texans declared that such a move would be considered.

The two teams that have jumped ahead of the 49ers since the weekend when it comes to the odds are the Jets and Bears.
