The hiring of Robert Saleh by the New York Jets means that the San Francisco 49ers are set to receive two compensatory third-round picks, one coming in each of the next two drafts. That means, as of right now, general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan are set to own the following 10 picks in the upcoming draft.

It is important to note that while the current overall pick numbers are listed below, the selections from the fourth round will shift downward once the NFL awards compensatory selections.

As stated, the third-round selection comes thanks to the Jets' hiring of Saleh and the NFL's minority-hiring program. It will be the team's only third-round pick after trading its own selection to Washington as part of the deal to acquire offensive tackle Trent Williams.

According to Over The Cap, San Francisco is expected to receive a compensatory fifth-round pick for losing wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders in free agency last offseason. The team owns its own fifth-rounder and received another from the New Orleans Saints as part of linebacker Kwon Alexander's trade.

The additional seventh-round selection comes courtesy of the 49ers trading a 2022 sixth-round pick to the Jets in exchange for defensive end Jordan Willis and the 2021 draft pick.
