Inactives:
- RB Tevin Coleman
- OG Tom Compton
- DB Chris Edwards
- LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles
- CB K'Waun Williams
- CB Ahkello Witherspoon
Witherspoon is among the 49ers' inactive players for the third consecutive game and appears to be a healthy scratch. Running back Tevin Coleman (knee), tackle Tom Compton (concussion), linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (hamstring), and cornerback K'Waun Williams (ankle) were all ruled out on Friday's game status report.
On Saturday, the 49ers activated cornerback Richard Sherman and running backs Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. from injured reserve. The team also activated tackle Trent Williams and linebacker Joe Walker from the reserve/COVID-19 list. All of those players are active.
Offensive lineman Tony Bergstrom and defensive linemen Alex Barrett, Darrion Daniels, and Willie Henry Jr. were all activated from the practice squad.
The 49ers had four players entering the game listed as "questionable." They are linebackers Azeez Al-Shaair (illness) and Dre Greenlaw (illness), defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw (not injury related), and tight end Jordan Reed (illness). All four are cleared to play.
