Brandon Aiyuk has been nominated for his second Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Week Award. The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver was nominated and won the award following a Week 3 victory over the New York Giants.

This latest nomination comes after the Niners' 37-27 Week 8 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Aiyuk finished the game with eight receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets while playing 63 snaps.


The other award nominees are Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs, and Buffalo Bills running back Zack Moss.

Aiyuk played college football at Arizona State, and the 49ers made him the No. 25 overall pick in April. He has 28 catches for 371 receiving yards and two touchdowns through seven games this season. The receiver also has four carries for 69 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
