Garoppolo and Kittle are likely headed to injured reserve, and both will be out indefinitely.
Garoppolo is expected to miss a minimum of six weeks with an ankle injury, and possibly longer if surgery is necessary, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Garoppolo left in the third quarter of Sunday's game after being sacked for the third time. He was seen walking on the sideline with a noticeable limp before leaving for the locker room. The quarterback did not return to the game and was replaced by Nick Mullens.
Garoppolo finished the game 11-of-16 for 84 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. He has completed 67.1 percent of his passes for 1,096 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions through six games this season.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Kittle suffered a small fracture in his foot while Schefter reports the All-Pro is expected to miss eight weeks due to the injury. If the 49ers fail to make the playoffs, that likely means his season is over.
Kittle left Sunday's game minutes into the fourth quarter after hauling in a 25-yard pass from quarterback Nick Mullens. He walked to the sideline and spent time speaking with the 49ers' training staff before leaving for the locker room.
Kittle ended the game with two catches for 39 yards on four targets. He has hauled in 37 catches for 474 yards with two touchdowns through six games this season.
