An already-thin San Francisco 49ers running back corps appears to be getting thinner, as Tevin Coleman has been declared out of today's game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a knee injury.

News of Coleman's status came down shortly after the start of the third quarter. Coleman was back in the lineup today for the first time since hurting his knee in a 31-13 win over the New York Jets in Week 2 but lasted only three carries before seeing his day come to an end.

Carrying the majority of the load for the 49ers in the first half against the Seahawks was rookie JaMycal Hasty, who had 12 carries for 29 yards and one touchdown by halftime.

Coleman's injury leaves the 49ers with just two healthy tailbacks in Hasty and Jerick McKinnon. Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson are currently on injured reserve due to high ankle sprains. The 49ers have one tailback (first-year back Austin Walter) currently on the practice squad.
