The 49ers also added wide receiver River Cracraft and safety Johnathan Cyprien to the active roster from the practice squad and downgraded defensive lineman Kentavius Street (illness) from questionable to doubtful for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Wide receiver Richie James (ankle) and safety Jaquiski Tartt (groin) were also downgraded from doubtful to out.
Wilson (6-0, 213) suffered his injury in the third quarter of the 49ers' 33-6 road win against the New England Patriots on October 25. Wilson, who drew a start in place of the injured Raheem Mostert (knee), was having a career game with 112 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries before his injury. He was named the NFL's FedEx Ground Player of the Week for his performance.
Coleman (6-1, 210) has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury in the 49ers' 31-13 win over the New York Jets on September 20, while Williams has been out since injuring his knee in a 25-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on October 4. Coleman's return to the roster will provide a much-needed boost to a 49ers running back room that is without starter Raheem Mostert (ankle) in addition to Wilson, while Williams will return to his role as the nickel back on defense.
Cracraft (6-0, 198) has been a part of the 49ers' practice squad this season after spending the first three years of his NFL career with the Denver Broncos. He has one career catch for 44 yards, 12 career punt returns for 40 yards, and three career kick returns for 43 yards.
Cyprien (6-1, 211) made his 49ers debut in the team's 33-6 win over the New England Patriots on October 25. Now in his eighth NFL season, Cyprien has 515 career tackles, two interceptions, and 16 passes defensed in 76 total games with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, and 49ers.
Here's a look at the updated injury situation for the 49ers (4-3) and Seahawks (5-1) heading into Sunday's game (4:25 p.m. ET/1:25 p.m. PT). The Seahawks also announced a series of roster moves Saturday, activating former 49ers defensive back D.J. Reed (hamstring) as well as rookie tight end Colby Parkinson (foot) from the non-football injury list while elevating defensive end/tight end Stephen Sullivan and cornerback Jayson Stanley from the practice squad to the active roster.
