Cornerback Jason Verrett was given Wednesday off as a veteran day, and was back at practice on Thursday. Another defensive back, safety Jimmie Ward, returned. He has been dealing with a quad injury and was inactive on Sunday against the New England Patriots.
Linebacker Kwon Alexander returned to practice. He's been sidelined since suffering a high-ankle sprain during the 49ers' Week 5 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
Those are the major differences from Wednesday's injury report. Running back Tevin Coleman, tight end Jordan Reed, and cornerback K'Waun Williams continue to work their way back but their statuses aren't reported below since they remain on injured reserve.
Below are Thursday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Seahawks, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
