Analytics site Pro Football Focus released its grades from Sunday's Week 3 matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants. The road-team Niners routed the home-team Giants 36-9, sweeping the two New York area teams during back-to-back games at MetLife Stadium.

Quarterback Nick Mullens had an impressive outing in his ninth career start. He finished the game 25-of-36 for 343 yards with a touchdown, a passer rating of 108.9, and Pro Football Focus' highest grade on offense for either team.


While safety Marcell Harris is listed as the 49ers defense's highest-graded player, it was only through seven snaps.

Linebacker Fred Warner was the highest-graded defender who had significant playing time for either team. He finished the game with seven tackles, an interception, and a pass defensed, according to Pro Football Reference. Pro Football Focus credited Warner with a pressure and quarterback hit.

Which 49ers owned Sunday's lowest grades on both sides of the football? That would be guard Laken Tomlinson on offense, who earned an overall grade of 45.3. He was followed up by fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who finished with an overall grade of 48.2 but had a respectable 77.3 pass-blocking grade. Linebacker Joe Walker was the lowest-graded defender at 45.4.
