Nick Bosa among top-5 jersey sales
The 49ers second-year defensive end, Nick Bosa, had one of the top-selling jerseys to start the 2020 season. His No. 97 jersey was among the top five. Only Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Patrick Mahomes, and Lamar Jackson — all quarterbacks — had better-selling jerseys.
Steve DeBerg straps a speaker to his back
Remember quarterback Steve DeBerg? He was with the 49ers for four seasons before the start of the Joe Montana era. The Pick Six Podcast recently flashed back to his final season with the team — 1980 — and a game where DeBerg had to have a speaker system strapped to his back so his offensive teammates could hear him.
