No, it's not some young rookie who watched in awe as Bosa earned his way last season to being named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. It's the $75 million man, aka The People's Tight End, George Kittle.
Kittle is already the best at his position. What could he learn from a second-year player who lines up on the other side of the football?
The All-Pro tight end joined KNBR on Thursday and was asked about his own weight-room regimen.
"I lift as much as I can," Kittle said on the Tolbert, Krueger & Brooks show. "In season is tough. You get a lot of bangs and bruises that kind of prevent you from doing everything."
While Kittle's in-season weight-room regimen is lighter than his off-season one, Bosa motivates Kittle to push himself a little more.
"I will say that Nick Bosa is a monster in the weight room," Kittle shared. "That dude is lifting four days a week, and he does his own stuff. He's pretty incredible to watch him do his thing. He does his things by the book, and how he wants to do them every single day, and that's why he's the player that he is.
"So, that's a guy that I watch. I'm like, alright, I've got to do things that he does because I have to block that dude in practice. And if I can block him, then I think I can block anybody because, in my opinion, he's one of the best players in the NFL."
