The San Francisco 49ers are having a busy Saturday. In addition to several earlier-reported roster moves, the team has also claimed defensive end James Lockhart off of waivers, according to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated.

The Pittsburgh Steelers in April signed Lockhart as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor. The AFC North team waived him on Friday.

Lockhart recorded 8.5 tackles for loss and six sacks in his senior season at Baylor. He racked up 30 tackles, 12.5 for a loss, seven sacks, two passes defensed, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in four collegiate seasons — two with Baylor and two before that at Texas A&M.
