Linebacker Fred Warner is the lowest-ranked 49ers player on the list, and the first San Francisco player revealed. He comes in at No. 70 in his first year being named to the NFL Top 100 Players.
The 49ers made Warner a third-round selection out of BYU in 2018. He registered 118 tackles, three sacks, nine passes defensed, an interception, a touchdown, and three forced fumbles through 16 games in 2019.
"He makes plays. He gets the ball out," said Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones. "And really, the interceptions, fumbles, he does it all. I really think he's one of the more underrated backers in this league."
The NFL Top 100 Players list is voted on by players and is based on performance during the previous year and predicted performance during the upcoming season. The list is in its 10th season on NFL Network.
Two players — tight end George Kittle and pass rusher Dee Ford — represented the 49ers on last year's NFL Top 100 Players list.
Next: No. 7 - Tight end George Kittle
