Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is the WWE 24/7 Champion after earning the title this past weekend. Now, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, a huge wrestling fan, is plotting a way to steal the title from Gronkowski.

Gronkowski added a WWE championship to his resume by pinning and stealing away the title and belt from Mojo Rawley on Sunday, who had won it the night before from R-Truth.

The WWE 24/7 Championship belt is open to anyone. It has to be defended, as the name indicates, all the time. That means the reigning champion can lose the title anywhere. If a certain 49ers tight end were to lay out the former Patriots tight end, for example, he would become the champion. Of course, it would have to be in the presence of a WWE referee.

"I'd have to blindside him, though," Kittle told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on Friday. "He's like three inches taller than me, and still probably weighs 30 pounds heavier than me. I'd probably go for the chop block, just take him out at the knees."

Gronkowski was hosting the two-night event, which was pre-taped from the empty WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and aired this past weekend.

"He looks fabulous," Kittle said of Gronkowski. "He did a great job on WrestleMania. It was just overall fun to see him out there having fun."
