Hopkins, 27, is a four-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time first-team All-Pro. The Cardinals gave up Johnson, a 2020 second-round pick, and a 2021 fourth-round pick in return for Hopkins and a 2020 fourth-round pick in return.
The Texans made Hopkins the No. 27 overall selection in 2013 after playing college football at Clemson. He registered 104 receptions for 1,165 yards with seven touchdowns through 15 starts last season.
Hopkins has caught 632 passes for 8,602 yards with 54 touchdowns through his seven NFL seasons.
