Juszczyk, 28, was part of general manager John Lynch's and head coach Kyle Shanahan's first free-agent class and was signed to a deal worth $21 million. Considered by many to be the best fullback in the NFL, Juszczyk is a four-time Pro Bowl selection, including his selection for the 2019 season. He did not play in the NFL's annual all-star game because he was preparing for Super Bowl LIV.
The Baltimore Ravens made Juszczyk a fourth-round selection out of Harvard in 2013. He carried the football three times for seven yards while adding 20 receptions for 239 yards with a receiving touchdown through 12 starts with the 49ers in 2019.
Juszczyk was a key blocker in the 49ers run game, which ranked No. 2 in the NFL this past season with 2,305 regular-season rushing yards and 612 in the playoffs.
Juszczyk has 93 rushing yards on 25 attempts with a rushing touchdown in seven NFL seasons.
