The 49ers didn't waste the opportunity at the stadium and used the time to figure out the plan during the irregularly long halftime the team will have to endure.
According to pool reporter Jenny Vrentas, head coach Kyle Shanahan informed his players that they need to hydrate and stretch during the first 15 minutes following the first half and then the team will return to its normal halftime routine.
"It's going to feel like forever," Shanahan said. "We're not used to that."
The much-hyped Pepsi Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show will feature Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.
The 49ers kick off Super Bowl LIV against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. PT (6:30 p.m. ET).
"We're as ready as we can be," Shanahan told Vrentas on Saturday. "We just need the game to get here. It's been two weeks of (practice), and we are itching to go."
