With fan voting closing on Thursday, Keiana Martin asked Staley on 49ers Live which potentially-overlooked teammate is most deserving for a Pro Bowl nod. Staley campaigned for the guard in what looked like a 49ers public service announcement.
"He's a guy that no one blows up," Staley said. "No one shows love to the offensive linemen but Laken is playing terrific football this season. He's setting the tone in the run game. He's been super consistent. He's putting in a ton of hard work this year. He's one of the main reasons why, offensively, we're putting up the numbers we are. It's because of his consistent performance.
"So go out and vote Laken Tomlinson to his first Pro Bowl because he's deserving of it, and he's an unbelievable human being, and he's an unbelievable player. Please, please, please go vote for him."
Fans can vote at the official 2020 Pro Bowl ballot or by using the hashtag #ProBowlVote on Twitter with the player's name or Twitter username.
