Ridley announced the news on Monday via Instagram.
The injury occurred on Sunday during the third quarter of the Falcons' 40-20 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Ridley finished the game with five catches for 76 yards and a touchdown. He has racked up 63 catches for 866 yards with seven touchdowns this season. Only Julio Jones has more receptions (69) and receiving yards (1,016).
The 49ers are coming off a 48-46 road victory over the New Orleans Saints and open the week as 11-point favorites in the matchup against the Falcons.
