Ronnie Lott and Deion Sanders were named to the team. Lott spent 10 seasons (1981-90) with San Francisco while Sanders spent one season (1994) with the team.
Rod Woodson, who spent the 1997 season with the 49ers, was also named to the NFL 100 All-Time Team.
Lott is a four-time Super Bowl champion, a 10-time Pro Bowl selection, an eight-time first-team All-Pro, and widely considered to be the best safety of all-time. Sanders is a two-time Super Bowl champion, eight-time Pro Bowl selection, and nine-time first-team All-Pro. Woodson also won a Super Bowl, made 11 Pro Bowls, and is a six-time first-team All-Pro.
The NFL 100 All-Time Team is made up of a roster of 100 players and 10 coaches deemed "the greatest" at their respective positions. NFL Network is unveiling the roster over six-weeks. A 26-person voting panel made up of coaches, team executives, former players, and members of the media are deciding who makes it onto the NFL 100 All-Time Team.
