Friday's practice is the last of the week. The team will hold a walk-through on Saturday, which is closed to the media, before Sunday's NFC showdown at Levi's Stadium between the 49ers and Green Bay Packers.
Neither Kittle, Samuel, nor Sanders will take part in a full practice this week, with all three being limited on Thursday and Friday after sitting out Wednesday. That is something that head coach Kyle Shanahan expected, which he stated during a KNBR interview on Thursday. Each player will be a game-day decision.
"None of them can practice yet," Shanahan said, "and I would be very surprised if they can practice tomorrow, but hopefully, they'll be able to play on Sunday."
Kittle is believed to have the more serious injury, having already missed two games, but reportedly looked good during warmups and individual drills on Thursday. Samuel and Sanders are expected to play against the Packers.
Kittle's Thursday practice was his first since sustaining knee and ankle injuries during Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals. Sanders suffered a rib injury during Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks while Samuel sustained a shoulder injury — more specific, an AC joint injury — this past weekend during the rematch against the Cardinals.
Kicker Robbie Gould (right quadricep) was not in uniform for Friday's practice but did get some kicking work in on a side field.
