TE George Kittle (knee, ankle) didn't practice following last week's injury against the Arizona Cardinals.
"I'm hoping he can play this week, but we'll see," head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters. "It's going to probably not be a decision until the end of the week."
Neither CB Ahkello Witherspoon (foot, quadricep) nor K Robbie Gould (quadricep) practiced. Witherspoon could see some work on Friday, said Shanahan, while Gould has "a chance" to play against the Seahawks. In case he can't, the 49ers signed K Chase McLaughlin — a rookie — on Thursday.
TE Levine Toilolo (groin) also did not practice.
The 49ers hope to get OT Joe Staley (fibula), OT Mike McGlinchey (knee), and FB Kyle Juszczyk (knee) back for Monday night's game. All three were among the players limited during Thursday's practice.
"I'd say I feel a little bit more confidence with — just a little bit more — with Staley and Juice," Shanahan said. "I think they're just a hair ahead of McGlinchey in that area. [...] We're hoping to get all three, but I can't guarantee any of them."
Below are Thursday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Seahawks, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
