RB Raheem Mostert was a surprise injury on Wednesday's practice report. He is day-to-day with a knee sprain, said head coach Kyle Shanahan.
As expected, the 49ers were without WR Deebo Samuel (groin) and DT D.J. Jones (hamstring) during Wednesday's practice. Both players were injured during Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Rams. Samuel was seen doing some light running, though.
Shanahan said both Samuel and Jones would be "questionable" this week and their statuses are day-to-day.
TE George Kittle also didn't practice as he continues to deal with a groin injury. He did, however, stretch with his teammates. Kittle was listed as "questionable" against the Rams but ended up playing and racking up eight catches for 103 yards.
DB K'Waun Williams (hand) practiced in a blue no-contact jersey.
The 49ers' injured tackles, Joe Staley (fibula) and Mike McGlinchey (knee) were seen rehabbing on a side field.
Below are Wednesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Redskins, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
