On Wednesday afternoon, head coach Kyle Shanahan shared the team's list of players who would sit out the first full practice of the week. Most, like Dee Ford and Joe Staley, were expected. Jaquiski Tartt's name was a bit of a surprise, though. The safety is dealing with a toe injury. Shanahan made a point to clarify that it is not "turf toe" but didn't offer details beyond that.

The good news is that Nick Bosa was on hand for Wednesday's practice. Although, he was limited. The rookie defensive end didn't practice last week until Friday and was limited when he finally did. He did, however, play on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Below are Wednesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Steelers, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
