Head coach Kyle Shanahan jumped on a conference call on Sunday afternoon and provided an update on his players' health. Players were going through treatments as the call started because the coaching staff let the team sleep in late after traveling back from Kansas City last night.
The only in-game injury was fullback Kyle Juszczyk suffering a hand contusion after hitting his hand against a helmet. He had an X-ray performed, which came back negative.
Other than that, the 49ers emerged from the game in pretty good health.
"I don't have any new things for us, right now," Shanahan said.
There is more good news. The 49ers should be getting several players returning this week as the team prepares for its final preseason game on Thursday night, a matchup at Levi's Stadium against the Los Angeles Chargers.
K'Waun Williams (knee) will start working out again, and his workload will ramp up this week. Shanahan isn't sure he will practice this week, though, but the cornerback could take part in individual work.
Other players who have a chance to come back this week are cornerback Tim Harris (groin), safety Adrian Colbert (hamstring), defensive lineman Dee Ford (knee tendinitis), guard Joshua Garnett (finger), tight end George Kittle (calf), wide receiver Jalen Hurd (back), linebacker Elijah Lee (thumb), running back Jerick McKinnon (knee), running back Raheem Mostert (quad), and defensive tackle Jullian Taylor (back).
Colbert, Garnett, and Lee should be able to play on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Chargers, added Shanahan.
"I'm hoping we can get [Weston Richburg] activated (off the PUP) this week so we can get him in practice a little bit," Shanahan added. "It depends on how it went when we left him behind. I was told over the phone it went well.
"We'll get to see him tomorrow when we bring him out on the field. If he's good enough to go with some people, then we'll get him off that so at least he can take some snaps with our quarterback and get a guy in front of him instead of just a bag and a trainer."
