Note: While the tweet below states that the video is from organized team activities, the team's official YouTube page states that it is from minicamp. More specifically, it indicates that the video is from the June 12 practice, which closed out the minicamp and the offseason program with a Jimmy Garoppolo to Pettis touchdown, as shown in the video.
Pettis can be seen going through individual and team drills as well as heard interacting with his teammates, including asking fellow receivers Jordan Matthews and Marquise Goodwin if they would prefer a fork or spoon should they only be allowed to use one for the rest of their lives.
Both, by the way, picked a spoon because you can't eat cereal with a fork.
"Why does everyone like spoons so much?" a baffled Pettis asked. "You can't eat pasta with a spoon. How are you going to eat steak? No chicken."
The video also features Pettis working with the 49ers' new receivers coach, Wes Welker.
Fullback Kyle Juszczyk, by the way, agreed with Pettis on the fork versus spoon debate. You know — in case you were wondering.
