It took until late in Round 2 amid buzz the Miami Dolphins were expressing interest in Rosen. Finally, when the Dolphins were about to be on the clock at No. 62 overall, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported during the draft's coverage the Cardinals had moved Rosen to Miami
Arizona subsequently selected University of Massachusetts wide receiver Andy Isabella, also dishing off a fifth-round pick to Miami.
That will be the back part of the story, however, as the focus on Rosen has been hot ever since Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury took over the job earlier this year. Kingsbury was previously on record saying he'd take Murray with the top NFL Draft pick, if he could.
And he did, making Rosen an expendable commodity.
So, the Cardinals turning Rosen into a second-round pick and making an addition to their receiving corps should be about as good an outcome possible, considering the significant investment from a year ago.
Meanwhile, the Niners are getting ready to use their third overall pick, No. 67 overall.
