Wilkerson and Fox will work out together for several NFL teams, reports Chan.
The 49ers signed punter Justin Vogel as a potential replacement for Bradley Pinion, who spent four seasons with the team before signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March.
San Francisco also re-signed long snapper Kyle Nelson to a four-year deal. However, he will be unavailable to start the season after being suspended in December for 10 games for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances. He has six games remaining in that suspension.
