That's impressive considering the Seahawks are about to close out their 43rd NFL season.
| Rank | Name | Year | Comp | Att | Yds | TD | INT | QB Rating |
| 1. | Nick Mullens, SF | 2018 | 50 | 77 | 689 | 3 | 1 | 101.1 |
| 2. | Ken Stabler, Oak. | 1979 | 56 | 84 | 685 | 2 | 4 | 79.7 |
| 3. | John Elway, Den. | 1987 | 43 | 74 | 673 | 5 | 3 | 94 |
| 4. | Dan Fouts, SD | 1983 | 49 | 77 | 669 | 5 | 5 | 85.9 |
| 5. | Kurt Warner, Arz. | 2008 | 51 | 74 | 658 | 5 | 2 | 107.8 |
Mullens completed 20 of his 29 pass attempts for 275 yards with a touchdown and a passer rating of 110.6 during Sunday's 26-23 overtime win over the Seahawks. The victory at Levi's Stadium came just two weeks after the 49ers suffered an embarrassing 43-16 loss to Seattle at CenturyLink Field.
"We knew it was going to be a dogfight," Mullens said after the game. "I was just so proud that we found a way to win. Might not have been the prettiest. Everybody worked well together. When we were passing the ball, that was cool. But when we didn't do good passing the ball, we ran the ball well. Then, when we didn't convert on offense, the defense stepped up and then the special teams touchdown. So, if you want to look at a textbook, collective team win, I believe that was it."
The bulk of Mullens' passing yards came during the December 2 matchup when he threw for 414 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.
"I felt like he was going to take shots and that he would feel confident about his game against us," Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin said after the game. "He came in and had 400 passing yards on us, so I'm telling the defense that he's going to feel confident about throwing against us."
